F.A.Q.

Published by admin

Welcome to our friendly F.A.Q. where you’ll find answers to such questions as:

Q1. So who is SeyrWeyr?
A1. SeyrWeyr is a Pittsburgh-based design team that began under the name PengiWear and decided to get back to its design roots. Founded by the Quayle family who are made of up New Orleans and Manx (UK) natives, our new name refects the manx-language word ’seyr’ or free and we stand for the freedom to design and the right of artists to portray their world, condition and events around them responsibly. We are a Christian organisation and though we do have a Christian line (SeyrApados) you won’t find too much dogma here. Seyr welcomes any artist who’d like to come on board, share ideas, blog, design or just chat about Pittsburgh art, world art or just cool stuff.

Q2.Where can I buy SeyrWeyr stuff?
A2. You can buy SeyrWeyr stuff (fashion for men, women, teens and kids and infants as well as stickers, holiday items and other merch) at one of our lovely online stores or the product index at our main site! by following our links below, which are also located in the sidebar blogroll:

Q3. Is SeyrWeyr social media-friendly?
A3. You bet- we’re all about artists and we like making friends and sharing stuff too! Link up with SeyrWeyr at these fabulous sites and services. Remember to either check back often or have your subscriptions update as our links will grow as we do:

Q4. Can I get SeyrWeyr blog content in my reader or email?
A4. We like portability too- from those days of scuttling around the filters at work to keep up with our favourite pages to hopping on friends’ accounts to stay current with banned social media at school and going underground here there and everywhere, we know what it’s like to have to bend the rules to get your stuff once in a while. Need to keep up with our blog? Subscribe in a reader Have it delivered RSS and skip the hassle.

Q5. Where else can I find SeyrWeyr?
A5. You never know where SeyrWeyr is going to turn up. Our affiliate site, Ebuda, is just getting off the ground and will be putting out an illustrated novel through Lulu.com and we occasionally show original artwork through this affiliate in Pittsburgh. All fashion/merchandise sales are handled through our online stores, however. We’re also on Flikr with our ongoing Pittsburgh photo series which occasionally shows up in the shop on products you can purchase for a unique view of the Burgh.

Q6. What happened to the old PengiWear store?
A6. The PengiWear store is not closed- products have been phased into the SeyrWeyr line.

Q7. I’d like to do a project with SeyrWeyr- you up for it?
A7. Drop us an email on any of our contacts and we’ll just see!

Q8. Can I link my blog to SeyrWeyr?
A8. You can link to whatever you want as long as you’re not stealing our bandwidth. Are you about art? Can we link to you?

Q9. Nothing against you and we’d like to link to you and display your products on our site but you do have religious content somewhere in your store and we don’t do religious stuff. Will you still do reciprocal linking to us?
A9. On the rare occasion we’ll make an exception but for the most part no. Nothing against you but have your principals and you stand so we have to as well. If you’d like specific product links to display from our store which are non-religious we can talk. We’re always going to be open to talk.

As for offensive content- we will not link to you if your site is blatantly out to shock for shock’s sake, seek to offend religion, culture, colour or race, defame, display illegal/overtly sexual/pornographic content, display malicious content, or exploit any particular group. We said responsible art.

SeyrWeyr tries to screen its links thoroughly but cannot be responsible for updates, etc and content to any linking sites outside SeyrWeyr affiliates.
